Mojave ball pythons are highly variable with some being light, some dark, but many have brilliant gold and white pigmentation on a dark background. Others will possess extreme blushing and greenish undertones. Mojaves all share reduced patterns with keyhole lateral blotches. First produced in 2000, the Mojaves were named for the desert near the home of the original producers of this morph, Dan & Collette Sutherland of the The Snake Keeper. In 2004, it was established that the super form of the Mojave is a white snake with a faint silver patterning, blue eyes and a purple to grey head.
