Orange Ghost(Hypomelanistic)Ball Pythons display a reduced synthesis of Melanin. This results in the permanent appearance of being in shed. The black pigmented areas are brownish to gray in color and the yellow-orange colors are more pronounced. This gene is simply recessive trait and is needed to produce the true ghost when mixed with the an Axanthic.
