The Pastel trait was proven be to Co-Dominant (incomplete dominant) by Graziani Reptiles in 1997. This means that when a male Pastel is bred to a normal female a portion of the resulting offspring will look like the sire while the remaining will be normal's. When two Pastel are bred together, you have the chance to produce a Super Pastel while the remaining offspring will be Pastel and possibly normals. Our line of pastels have a more vivid contrasting coloration than other lines of Pastels. The blacks and yellows in them are more pronounced and give them a much better overall appearance even as they mature into adulthood.
