Piebald Ball Pythons are amazing. No two are ever alike. High white pieds can toss a litter of all low white pieds just as fast as two low white pieds can toss a litter of all high whites. They tend to have a double lined striped pattern in what remaining portions that are not whited out. Piebald Ball Pythons never have a normal pattern in their pigmented areas. The whited out patches are how it's name was founded. The genetic trait is call the piebald trait. Where the skin is whited out that white areas lack chromatophores which makes color. To date, no pied has been produced without patterning on the head. This incredible gene is simple recessive trait.
Pieds are not for everyone. They have a very high degree of being stubborn feeders and take a longer time to reach a mature breeding size. Patients is a must have virtue when dealing with this genetic miracle.
