About Snowballs Ball Pythons Co-Op

A few years ago, we set out to produce our own Snowball. It is produced by breeding an Albino to an Axanthic to make double hets. These double hets are then bred together to create the elusive 1 in 16 Snowball. It's an all white snake that is made by 2 recessive genes in their homozygous form in one animal. They have a delicate lacing pattern that is very subtle and it is hard to capture in photographs. It must be seen to be truly appreciated. The Snowball Ball Python is how we established our name.

As for our co-op, we are 3 hobbyists that decided to get together and pool our resources. We felt that we could have a greater impact by joining under one name and sharing the benefits equally. To date it has worked out wonderfully. We have been able to acquire some of the most outrageous Ball Python morphs to create and establish a premier jaw dropping collection. We have taken the time to research all of the morphs and breeders so we could selectively choose only the premier bloodlines for our breeding stock.

Jan 29, 2010 Had a fellow ball enhusiast over last evening. So we broke out the Ultrasound and scanned a few of the girls. All my projects are right on target for where they should be compared to the last few years results at this same time. Things are looking goooood.

Dec 2, 2009 Lots of the girls started bowl wrapping. So we started pairing the males this week. Tons of copulation already.

Aug 25, 2009 Produced our first Caramel today. Pretty awesome after raising the parents from birth.

Aug 27, 2009 Hatched out some Killer Bees, Bees, and Super Pastels this morning. Awesome day. And to think, I still have 2 incubators full of eggs.

Aug 21, 2009 Spent the morning traveling to several high end pet stores in our area. Met up with some old freinds, set up some contracts to supply them with some of our surplus offsrping. All in all a great morning. Cleaned all of the cages, scrubbed them all out, scrubbed out the water bowls too. New mulch all around, gotta love "Spring Cleaning" in the fall. Took most of the afternoon even with my little helper.

Aug 20, 2009 Updated the Morph Directory on our forums. Now we have over 675 morphs listed. All with genetics and images. Amazing!!!
