First proved out in 2001, the Butter Ball Python has amazing golden butter yellows, beautiful flames, toffee browns and velvety caramel-brown background. The "Super Butter" or the homozygous form is a Blue-Eyed Leucistic and are similar in appearance to the Lesser Platinum's. However they are two very different lines. There is some speculation that the Butters, Lessers and Mojaves are of the same genetic complex. When combined either together or with each other they can all produce the coveted Blue Eyed Leucistics.
