Calico

Calicos hatch with pink lateral coloration, and develop their trademark white sides as they mature. Calicos typically exhibit an overall reduced pattern, often with a black back, as well as orange highlighting where the white sides meet the dorsal pattern. They are also known as Bubble Gum or Sugars.
The Calico trait was first proven to be genetic in 2002. It wasn't until July of 2008 that Morton Wright proved out the Calico trait to be a codominant one. He produced the first Super Calico. There is still tons of things that can be done with this trait and adding it in to several of our projects is a big goal of ours.
