Super Pastels were first produced in 1999. They were the first known super form of ball pythons and were referred to as Opals. Super Pastels are created by breeding two Pastels together and creating the homozygous form called the Super Pastel. As hatchlings Supers appear as an exteme version of a Pastel. They can be extreme yellow snakes with a drastically faded head pattern and have extreme blushing throughout the pattern that often times looks purple to grey in appearance. We were lucky enough to produce this girl in 2009.
